How strong are these eye bolts for use as a tie down point on a trailer??Pic included.?


I am putting some tie down anchor bolts on my utility trailer and i was wondering how stong these 1/2" eyebolts are in the picture?Thanks.

strong, i use them on a utility trailer i have they have been in for 2 years and i use 2 inch ratchet straps on them and they havent budged or had any problem

My trailer lights are dim. Using a u haul flat four. which is the ground?

    Strong
    I use smaller ones and they are good enough to tie down motorcycles. Suggest you also use wide flat washers along with them to spread the load tension.

    You could probably pick up the trailer with them, but I would contact Tractor Supply directly to find out the specific load rating.

    fine for about everything…iv used 1/4 inch and 3/8… id use 3/8 unless ur gona tie down a 1000 lb motercycle
