How do I restore the Deck of my 16 ft flatbed utility trailer?

I have a 16 ft flatbed utility trailer that needs a new deck from the frame up. its 76" wide, 190" long and has side rails that are 8" high. Husband wants to use 2X6 boards for it, wondering if anyone has any ideas for a good restore or whatnot? any sites that might have some info?

Thanks!

2×6’s are usable. The wider your board, the more strength is will have, but if it breaks, it takes a lot more of a toll than would a narrower board, since you would have more deck left. 2×6 – 2×10 are good for a car hauling trailer.
